Japanese Phonics is a basic Kana studying and verbal recognition training app. It is very simple - it has both Katakana and Hiragana and allows you to listen to sounds of each character (with the Study option) and play a recognition game (with the Play option).

This app may be handy for those just starting to learn to read and listen to Japanese Kana characters and sounds.
